Seasonal Memberships
✗ Non-Transferable
Seasonal memberships are personal licenses for the current season only and cannot be transferred or resold.
How to Transfer Your Lifetime Membership

New Member Verification
The new member must provide contact details and agree to Northern Stay's Terms of Service
Pay Transfer Fee
One-time administrative fee of $99 CAD to process the ownership change
Activate Membership
New owner sets up monthly maintenance fee billing ($79/month) and gains immediate access
* Maintenance fees are subject to change
Processing Time: Transfers typically complete within 2-3 business days after all requirements are met.
Resale Rights & Potential Value
You Set the Price
As the owner, you have complete control over your resale price. Northern Stay charges a 15% commission on the sale price plus a $99 admin fee for private resales.

Types of Transfers Allowed
Private Sale
Sell your membership to any eligible buyer at a price you negotiate. Payment arrangements are between you and the buyer.
Family Transfer
Transfer ownership to a family member as a gift or inheritance. Same transfer process applies with a $500 fee, no commission.
Corporate Transfer
Businesses can transfer memberships between employees or as part of compensation packages. Corporate ownership is permitted.
Important Transfer Restrictions
The Following Are Prohibited:

Investment Marketing: Cannot be advertised or sold as an investment product or security

Commercial Subletting: Cannot rent out your membership access to others
- ✗
Unauthorized Brokers: Cannot use third-party brokers not approved by Northern Stay

Fraudulent Transfers: Any misrepresentation voids the transfer and membership
All transfers and sales must be conducted through the Northern Stay platform.
No private sales allowed, due to the administrative bottleneck of changing over the member details.

Transfer FAQs
Q: Can I transfer a partially paid membership?
A: If financing, the loan must be paid in full or assumed by the new owner (subject to lender approval).
Q: Are there limits on how many times a membership can be transferred?
A: Yes. Lifetime Memberships are limited to one transfer as long as all transfer requirements are met.
Q: What happens to advance bookings during transfer?
A: Existing reservations can be transferred to the new owner or cancelled per standard cancellation policy.
