Northern Stay Refund Policy

Important Notice

Northern Stay memberships are an investment in long-term camping access. Please review this policy carefully before purchasing, as memberships are generally non-refundable after the initial grace period.

7-Day Grace Period

Full Refund Window

You have 7 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund of your membership fee. This grace period allows you to review all membership terms and ensure Northern Stay meets your camping needs. The grace period is void if any nightly stays are used.

To request a refund within the grace period:

  • 1.

    Email admin@northernstay.com with your order number

  • 2.

    Include "Refund Request" in the subject line

  • 3.

    Allow 5-10 business days for processing

Monthly Maintenance Fees (Lifetime Members)

Fee Structure

$79 CAD per month
Billed monthly to maintain your lifetime membership
Maintenance fees are subject to change.

What Your Fees Support:

  • Campground partnerships & park upgrades

  • Technology & platform maintenance

  • 24/7 customer support

  • Network expansion & new parks

Non-Payment Consequences:

  • • NSF fee may apply for insufficient funds
  • • $25 late fee after 10 days
  • • Account suspension after 30 days
  • • Possible collections action for extended non-payment
  • • A reinstatement fee may apply

Non-Refundable After Grace Period

After the 7-day grace period, all membership fees are non-refundable. This policy applies regardless of:

Personal Circumstances

  • • Change in travel plans
  • • Medical conditions
  • • Financial hardship
  • • Relocation

Service Factors

  • • Park availability
  • • Seasonal closures
  • • Platform changes
  • • Network modifications

Exceptions - Refunds May Be Issued For:

  • ✓ Duplicate payments made in error
  • ✓ Technical errors during checkout (must be verified)
  • ✓ Charges made without authorization

Membership Transfer & Resale

Transfer Options

While memberships are non-refundable, Lifetime Memberships can be transferred or resold to another party. Seasonal memberships are non-transferable.

Transfer Requirements:

  • 1.New member must submit contact details
  • 2.Agreement to Terms of Service required
  • 3.$99 administrative transfer fee
  • 4.Activation of monthly maintenance billing

Important Notes:

  • Cannot be marketed as investment product
  • Northern Stay not involved in resale pricing
  • Transfer must be completed through customer service

Reservation Cancellations

This refund policy applies to membership fees only. Individual campground reservation cancellations are subject to the following terms:

Free Cancellation

Cancel up to 7 days before check-in without penalty.

Late Cancellation

Less than 7 days or no-shows may result in temporary booking restrictions.
Late cancellation fees may be applied to the payment method on file.
