Strang's Shore Camping

This is my first summer as a seasonal lot renter. Grounds are very well maintained. Sheldon and Keith and their workers are very friendly. Sheldon would crawl under anyone’s trailer for them. The age group of the average renter here tends to be more senior with just a handful of family’s with young children so it’s very quiet and peaceful. The “Rec hall” has pool table and shuffle board and ping pong along with a ton of board games. Staff is nice. It is windy there so watch your awnings. It is very close to the PEI bridge. Lots of space to walk your dog. There are two little local stores nearby but keep in mind they don't sell alcohol. There is also a warf about 2 km from the park to buy fresh lobster from the boat. They come in around 5 p.m.

We didn't stay at this Campground but I wanted to provide a sincere, genuine thank you to the owners. We crashed our RV in the middle of August not far from their campground and even though they were on their way to a big concert/event they stopped to make sure everyone was alright and stayed well after the tow truck arrived to help get the RV unstuck. We are so thankful and appreciative of their efforts and just for stopping to make sure everyone was okay. Thank you from all of us that you helped rescue that day, if were ever back in the area, I know where we will be staying!
