My wife & I had stopped for gas in St Leonard 5 nights ago on our way to P.E.I. We had done a lot of driving that day, and we had expected to add 30 - 60 minutes more. While looking for camp grounds in the area I noticed Camping St Leonard was less than a couple of Km’s from the hwy/gas station. We decided that we had enough driving for the day, so we called and found out that they had room for us.

We had a very disappointing experience with this campground.
Two weeks before our arrival, I called because I was interested in one of the campsites listed on their website. I simply wanted to confirm that it could accommodate two vehicles and a pop-up camper for our group (4 adults and 3 children under the age of 2). I was told that the site I had selected would be too small, but that another site, T5, would be a perfect fit. I accepted that recommendation, and the staff member I spoke with even suggested that I complete the reservation online.
When we arrived, however, the story completely
I highly recommend staying here. We are driving from Ontario to tour the east coast. We have stayed at several camping spots during our travels and this one was by far the best. The service was top notch and not to mention how friendly the owners are. The live music and dance was a blast. We needed a boost and the owners happily assisted us, got us back on the road and wished us safe travels. We felt warm and at home here. You won’t regret your stay!
