Our waterfront retreat offers a delightful array of amenities for guests of all ages, including a canteen with snacks and beverages, a floating dock for swimming and fishing, and a playground playset for kids. The Sailors’ Rest Recreation Hall invites relaxation with free organic fair-trade coffee and cribbage games, while lawn games like croquet and bocce are available for rent. For a unique experience, try catching crabs from the dock at our Crab Trap on the Wharf or launch a boat from the Rocky Boat Launch.

Park Rules & General Policies ▾

Guests are responsible to ensure all individuals in their group and all of their visitors abide by these rules at all times.

Fire Policy ▾

All fires are subject to Nova Scotia’s daily burn restrictions (effective May 16, 2024, these apply to all provincial and private campgrounds). Each campsite is equipped with its own fire pit for safe campfires. A communal campfire is held nightly near the marina, often featuring music or a mussel boil hosted by the Murphys. Campfires must always be kept under control and supervised. Cooking grills are also available free of charge at the office for guest use.

Pet Policy ▾

Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times and must not disturb others. You MUST clean up after your pets. Pets are not permitted in any buildings.

Vehicle & RV Policy ▾

Each campsite allows only one vehicle. Additional vehicles must be parked in the overflow parking area near the office, with extra parking fees applied.

Quiet Hours ▾

Quiet hours are enforced from 11:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Please be respectful of neighbouring sites.
