About Como Lake Resort

Set on the quiet shores of Como Lake in Northern Ontario located just inside the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve, Como Lake Resort offers a peaceful, off-grid escape surrounded by forest, water, and wildlife. As the only resort on the lake, guests enjoy a low-density, nature-first setting with RV sites, and direct access to fishing, paddling, and shoreline exploration. Days are spent on the water, hiking nearby trails, or relaxing around individual site fire pits, while evenings bring calm lake views, stargazing, and the chance to reconnect with nature in a truly remote Canadian wilderness setting.

Guests can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities throughout the season, including:

Fishing on Como Lake and nearby lakes
ATV riding on logging trails
Hunting in the surrounding areas
Enjoy family and social activities such as horseshoes, beachside campfire gatherings, and indoor games available during rainy days.
Water and nature activities such as canoeing, kayaking, boating, swimming, hiking, bird watching, wildlife photography, driftwood and rock collecting, island exploration on Como Lake’s 17 islands, and seasonal Northern Lights, sunrise, and sunset viewing.

Park Rules & General Policies ▾

Guests are expected to enjoy clean, quiet accommodations and respectful use of the resort environment, as well as be respectful to other guests. Children swimming or using the sauna must be accompanied by an adult.

Fire Policy ▾

Fire policy is to keep fire within the size of the fire pit and never left unattended. If the provincial government has a fire ban in the area then absolutely no fires and use of charcoal BBQ. Only flames controlled with a valve.

Pet Policy ▾

Pet friendly but pets must be under owners supervision at all times even if they are wanderers, (Stoop-N-Scoop) is a hole that a pet made must be buried.

Vehicle & RV Policy ▾

Only one RV/site with exception of a tent that can be set up for kids wanting to experience sleeping under the stars. Sites are also used for vehicle parking, if needing more parking we have many nearby parking options.

Quiet Hours ▾

Quiet hours are enforced from 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. Please be respectful of neighbouring sites.
